Jiffy Pictures is a Tv media production studio behind several successful Swahili TV Series. Citizen TV’s Lulu Hassan and her husband Rashidy Abdalla began this business after gathering expertise on what goes into a TV show.

Jiffy Pictures’ success is evident after witnessing Kenyans fall in love with their series. Below are a number of series that they have.

1. Maria

2. Maza

Maza is a coastal Swahili slang for MAMA. It shows negativity and lack of respect when used. No warm affection attached to it and sounds unmotherly.

Synopsis: A family’s strong bond is crushed by a best friend’s envy in one night. LEA mysterious disappearance, leaves her husband DINGO and their two kids [MAYA and BADI] with only hope that she would return one day. 10 years later, the law court declares LEA officially dead. Through her effortless affection, LEA’s best friend KATE becomes the perfect replacement for their demise and the beginning of an endless family trauma.

3. Huba

Synopsis: When DEV returns home from abroad, BI. TESA declares that he must marry BATULI and take charge in the family business. He follows suit but does not take the whole matter seriously especially when it comes to BATULI. And as much as he proves to her that he does not wish to rekindle old flames or renovate ancient history, BATULI through her ‘mother-in-law’ support convinces herself that eventually DEV will come around.

4. Kovu

Synopsis: Years back, a shy innocent, beautiful girl, fresh from college, is employed by a business tycoon as his personal secretary. He slowly starts to like her. The authenticity of the studio is very visible, we see different Kenyan actors and new faces in their shows. This is a great way of nurturing and promoting our very own.
