Erick Omondi today revealed on KISS 100 that his show, wife Material, is set to resume on both Instagram and YouTube by 19 Friday 2021.
His show was suspended by the Kenya Film Classification Boards (KFCB) on the 16 of March 2021 as his show was considered explicit and unsuitable for a young audience. However, after a keen examination of Eric’s apology and request for an out-of-court settlement and his willingness to settle the case through an alternative dispute resolution and on the condition that the comedian deletes all the explicit content on his online channels.
The comedian stated that the show will be back for at least one and a half weeks but he is not sure whether he will get a wife yet.
“It was to resume tomorrow for another one and a half weeks and we vote looking for a wife but I think season 3 we will look for ‘the’ wife. I am serious this time, I am almost turning 40 hata mathe amekubaliana nami we want a wife.”
Eric did also announce the resume of his show on Instagram “#WifeMaterial2 was to resume officially this weekend but out of HONOR and RESPECT We will take time to CELEBRATE and MOURN our HERO and stand with our Brothers and Sisters from TANZANIA 🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿 We will Resume Afterwards🙏🙏🙏🙏”
