The Real Housewives Of Nairobi

The lockdown and curfew situation in Nairobi and its neighboring counties has been a blessing in disguise. Spending more time indoors has resulted in binge-watching numerous shows from various countries.

We have seen that our very own Kenyan actors have outdone themselves in a crime series called Crime and Justice. That and many other shows have been keeping viewers glued to their screens.

The dramatic nature of Real housewives shows which have been airing on the Bravo network since time memorial, will be evident in the Nairobi show. The several series hosted by the show are Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, New York, Orange County.

As the South African Real Housewives of Durban and USA’s Real Housewives of Atlanta, The Real Housewives of Nairobi is about to grace our screens with reality TV that’s captivating and juicy.

In 2019, the production company known as ‘Director in Heels Productions’ released a short video on YouTube. The video hinted at the expected Real Housewives of Nairobi.

The speculated cast will include, Catherine Kariuki, popularly known as ‘the fashionable stepmom’. The luxury fashion blogger, Sonal Maherali aka the shoe queen, and Juliet Ochieng (former Miss World Kenya 2004).

The show’s executive producer, Claire Ash Meadow, while being interviewed by The Standard mentioned that the first season will air on KTN Home. She also added that the show will air after the 2021 Olympics in August.

This show will definitely put Kenya on the map. Stay tuned!
