In honor of the fallen legend. Various artists gathered to commemorate E-Sir. It has been precisely 18 years since he passed away, however, South C’s best musician has never been forgotten. The talented musician’s rapping and writing skills could easily be seen in his work. To date, Kenyans are still jamming to his hits.
Every March, the entertainment industry organizes a gesture in his memory. 16 March 2003 is the day E-Sir passed on, Although, on Sunday, various celebrities remembered him and put flowers on his grave.
Nonini wrote on his Instagram, “Special Sunday as we remembered the late E-SIR! He would have been turning 40 this year. We also took time and visited Ferooz as well. Thank you Nameless/Wahu/Talia/Habib/Lenny/Big Pin and everyone who joined us today.”
Nameless post memories that many hold dear and this was clear through the responses to his post. He made a joke that fans should now return and ‘butcher’ the lyrics as they did previously and wish them an extraordinary week.
E-Sir passed away but his music that he expressed in Swahili still lives in the heart of Kenyans.
